Rotary Club of Lagos Island (RCLI)

Rotary Club of Lagos Island (RCLI) was chartered leadership of District Governor (2015-16) Rtn Bola Onabadejo & Rtn Vinod Garg (Chartered President)

With few #PeopleofAction Rtn Ramesh Jain ( Charter Secretary), Rtn Amrendra Sinha, Rtn Sarbeshwar Sahoo & Rtn Raj Kumar Gulati , the club started with low profile Community Service activities.

The club had very conservative objectives and targets at that time in mind. Attendance during initial meetings was discouraging and very poor.

Rotary has a great tradition of Change in Leadership every year, to create many Leaders to serve the community with the motto of Service above Self. I have the privilege and honor to be one of them, which I assure you to execute my duties with the best of my capability & wisdom. Leadership change every year reminds me of:

# Lead & Follow
– New people to come in the system
– Growth of people
– Lead follows to make new members.
– Engage in Rotary activities, not for the namesake but to build a better world.
